	Rev. William Metzger, Pastor Pastor Bill was born in Chicago Heights, IL, and grew up in Matteson, IL, where he graduated from Rich South High School. He attended Concordia University in Milwaukee (where he met his wife, LaVonne) and transferred, graduating from Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. He then attended Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO, graduating in 1983. Bill and LaVonne are blessed with two daughters, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren.

	Jeff Kuester, Youth Ministry Director Jeff Kuester is a graduate of Judson University and has degrees in Communication Arts and Elementary Education. He has been serving in Chicago area churches for more than ten years. Jeff has worked with Willow Creek Community Church, Group Publishing, and St. Peter Lutheran Church.

	Jean Hoger, Preschool/Kindergarten Director Jean Hoger serves as director of the preschool and kindergarten. She teaches a class of 3-year-olds on Tuesday/Thursday mornings and a class of 4-year-olds on Monday/Wednesday/Friday mornings. Jean began teaching preschool in 1984 at St. John Lutheran School in Ocala, FL. She has been at Holy Cross since 1994.

	Denise Fuelling, Parish Administrator As Parish Administrator, Denise handles the day-to-day operations of Holy Cross. She holds undergraduate degrees in psychology and mental health and a master’s degree in business administration. Her husband’s job transferred them from Michigan to Illinois in 2006. Her father is a retired LCMS pastor.

	Dawn Fox, Secretary/Receptionist Dawn has a wealth of corporate experience from Superior Coffee to Edy's Grand Ice Cream, where she met her husband, Dan. They have two children, Connor and Ian. Dawn is no stranger to LCMS ministry. Two of her uncles are pastors in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
