What is "Fun Fridays"?

Fun Fridays is a homeschool enrichment program that offers children opportunities to explore subjects outside of reading, writing, and arithmetic. Classes will run on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM between Labor Day and Memorial Day with breaks for major holidays. Click the button below to see more information in our brochure.

Fun Fridays Brochure

What will my child be learning?

Christian Education
Led by Pastor Patterson, students will explore the Bible, Luther's Small Catechism, and Church history.

Chapel
Chapel every week is focused on God's Word and teaches students how to participate in and enjoy a church service.

Music
Miss Laura, our church organist, will lead the kids in choir, hand chimes, and cover some basic music theory.

Art
Students will explore various mediums as they create art projects to display at our annual Music & Art Show in May.

Physical Education
P.E. will focus on building confidence and learning new skills as they explore different sports with their classmates.

Current Events
Students will receive a subscription to WorldKids Magazine, which we will discuss each week.

Much More!
We aren't afraid to shake up the schedule with things like trips to the library, nature walks, and science experiments.

Registration for the upcoming school year is open! Click the buttons below for the registration form and the parent handbook. Print the registration form, fill it out, and email it to [email protected]. Payment (check) can be mailed to Holy Cross or dropped off in person during office hours. Registration closes April 30th.
